Older parent wants to sell properties

My 80 year old dad wants to get rid of some properties he's had in Arkansas for 30 plus years.  They are all paid in full and none are occupied.  What would be the best approach for him?  Sell all at once?  Sell one a year?  I am able to buy some (but not all) and would that be beneficial for me?  I know we probably need to discuss this with a cpa but I was wondering if anyone has been down this road.  Thanks

I would first go to a an estate planning firm that is talented in federal estate taxation.

Selling some for cash to retail buyers, and selling some on installment sale to landlords might be a good plan (escapes Dodd Frank)
