Investor in California

Hi! My name is Patty and I am an accidental buy and hold investor venturing into new REI areas.

California is my home.

I am venturing into buy, FIX, and hold; looking into how to loan money for the short term (up to 6 months) and JV with others, and using self-directed IRA's.These are new areas for me so there is going to be discomfort with this learning curve. I'm a newbie to these REI options so I'll be asking lots of questions.

My interest in real estate led me to getting a real estate brokers license used to research properties for personal holdings. I manage properties I own and have enjoyed property management.

I learned about BiggerPockets by accident doing searches. Thank you @Brian Turner for what you created and share.

The Book On Flipping Houses has been purchased and I have begun reading the book. Thank you @J Scott for your insights.

My goal is to make connections with other real estate investors (especially real estate agents and real estate professionals in my area who are investors themselves) to share information and strategies.

I look forward to learning more about how to use this forum: Hopefully, I don't accidentally do something inappropriate that gets me into trouble.  :-)

I look forward to networking and contributing to our local communities through real estate investing!
