Investor from Geogia (Working in SC)
I'm a somewhat new investor from Georgia (Alpharetta, Ga). I'm a engineer by trade and once had rental properties by in early 2000s in Metro Baltimore. Sold those rentals once I relocated to Atlanta metro. There were some strong lessons learn from those experiences like cash reserves, due diligence and property management.
Wife and I are interesting in getting back into real estate investing with goals of long-term cash flow to secure a good retirement in 10 years.
Initial focus would be multifamily (2-4 unit) or small single family in upstate SC area (Greenville, SC) since I'm currently doing contract work there over next 2 yrs and paying rent to someone else.
Looking to meet other investors and learn as much as possible.
