I currently own a six bedroom property in Bethesda, MD that I've been renting by the room for the past 10 years. This is a side business for me, but it's proved to be profitable and relatively easy to manage. Recently one of my neighbors approached me about selling me their house and I told them I was interested. I feel confident I can expand my existing rental business into the second property, however I need financing to purchase it. I created an account on biggerpockets.com to look for potential financing options.
