Almost ready, I think
Hello All, I am new to BiggerPockets and starting to get past the analysis paralysis. I have been a landlord by happenstance going on 3 years after purchasing a new home and being underwater a bit in the previous home. I have long "planned" on going into REI but have been a bit fearful, its always something I will do when the market does "x".
I have found recently the market is saturated with homes that would make fantastic (i think) flips/holds. My plan is to find a distressed home in my area, rehab then refinance to keep as rentals (all while working full time in a different career).
I have been reading articles and blogs about real estate investing and reading Think and Grow Rich.
My goal is to work in real estate full time with a mix of flips, rentals and possibly getting my real estate license. I have been thrilled by "the hunt" since purchasing my first home in 2006 but have mostly use it as a vice to help friends find homes.
