New Investor from Georgia

Hello Everyone. 

I am a new investor located in West Georgia (Carroll County). My wife and I both work full time and have great jobs but are looking for better ways to invest our money and I think real estate is the answer. Real estate has been an interest of mine for quite some time now and I am ready to start investing! I am most interested in rental property buy may do some flipping if the right opportunity comes up. I plan to buy property primarily in West Georgia due to the fact that I know the area extremely well. Right now I am reading everything I can get my hands on while I keep my eye open for the right property. So far I have read Rich Dad Poor Dad, The Millionaire Real Estate Investor, and The Book on Investing with No Money Down.  I am extremely impressed with the information I have found here at BP and look forward to learning and reading more of the topics and stories on the website.
