Welcome to Biggerpockets. Great to have you here. The Ultimate Beginner's Guide to REI is a good book to start. The principles on REI should also apply in the Philippines. I'm also from the Philippines and I'm reading books from Larry Gamboa as well. My REI strategy right now is to look for foreclosed properties and have it bank financed and look for potential partners through networking. Good luck in your REI journey.
