Newbie wholesaler/note investor from Manassas Virginia

My name is Dave Leresche, and I am a 20+-year information technology veteran looking to make a permanent career change into real estate and note investment.

Ideally, I want to transition into the most conducive area of real estate to remote work. I have a little experience (less than good) in being a landlord. I do not wish to manage property though. 

My goal is to build start-up capital through wholesaling so that I can begin investing in non-performing notes or whatever is the ideal area to invest. I was born and raised in Tyson's Corner VA, spent some time in the US Army Band program in San Francisco, and now reside in Manassas.

I found BP by clicking a link from a promo email about real estate. I have been networking with my uncle, who rents property, a realtor at Keller Williams in Manassas named Joyce Larkin, and am looking to meet with Jamie Curtwright, and investor in Fairfax soon.
