Hey all, My name is Eric and I'm a seasoned rookie who someone only now just discovered Bigger Pockets. My wife and I purchased a 2 flat in 2011 in Ferndale, MI with the intention to eventually move out and rent both units. We had cash flow with one tenant but since relocating back to Chicago, have some great cash flow with both. Now that we have some great equity, we are interested in using it to jump into some more real estate investing. Specifically cash flow properties that we live in or simply landlord. I'm interested I. The metro Detroit area (not Detroit proper) because I know it very well as well as Chicagoland where we live (we're in Uptown now). I somehow just found BP and am ashamed and embarrassed that it took so long! I've learned tons listening to the podcasts over this past week. Looking forward to networking and using this great community!
