New kid on the block from Houston, TX

Hi everyone! My name is Darrell Thompson and I am a newbie real estate investor from Houston, TX. I'm excited to be a part of the BP community and I look forward to working with many people from here in the near future.

I've spent my entire professional career (8 years) in the oil and gas field, and I am finally ready to escape the rat race. I jumped in head in the area of wholesaling with aspirations of becoming a seasoned wholesaler/rehabber. I have already taken action on the information learned through BP and it's members, but I want to continue to learn and grow. 

I'm open and looking to network with other investors in my local area. I would also like to find/join meetup groups in the Houston area. Thanks to those of you who have already filled the site with great information for new kids like me!
