Hello from the Netherlands - with interests in US RE

Hello all,

It;s a pleasure to meet you all on a forum so filled with information about RE investments.
We've spend some days reading here but there;s weeks more of reading to do.
We thought we'd introduce ourselves first, so you'd know who's reading all your ideas and advices given.

We are a couple in our early 30's from the Netherlands, Europe.
As we've found some great advantages in the US RE market, we are preparing ourselves to start investing here. At the moment we're in the Rich Dad coaching program and there is still a lot we need to learn.
However, we're planning on buying our first property in November. We're planning to start small and learn on the job as well as expanding the number of properties on a regular base.
We are aiming at high cashflow multifamily units and are therefore advised to look in the NY area.
In a quick scan, we did find some interesting properties in NY and at the moment we are anxious to learn more.
We are full with questions and will be around for quite some time reading all previous posts on the forum :D .
