Hello Everybody! New investor from Tampa, Florida

So, I've been stalking BP for some time now and it has taught me so much! I have browsed many forums, podcasts, and articles and really want to take it to the next level and get involved with the community.

I am 22 years old and my girlfriend at the time (now my wife (: ) moved to Tampa about 5 years ago. I have always had an interest in real estate investing but wasn't sure how to get going with it. I finally came across BP and also started asking my landlord, at the time, some questions about his business and became very passionate about real estate. After listening to lots of podcasts, reading forums, and searching tons of properties, my wife and I bought our first investment. A 4 unit value-add deal. We moved into one of the units, got a couple new tenants, raised rents, automated some things and started living for free while cash flowing. Life was great. I was working full time and once I tasted the greatness I wanted more. My wife and I decided to get our real estate licenses and sell real estate full time while keeping our eyes out for more investments. We found a good flip deal and just finished it the beginning of this year! We used some private money to fund it and we did great but it definitely was stressful :) I really like the passive income from the 4 plex but want to go bigger into apartment buildings, which I have plenty of questions about and will post in the appropriate thread. I would love to meet people who have experience with commercial investing.

Since I live in Florida, I love to take part in water sports. I love to kiteboard, wakeboard, and surf. My wife and I really enjoy the Florida beaches as well and cant get enough of it! We also have a 4 month old daughter which has been huge fun and such a learning process in itself:)
