I have been in business for myself for 5 years.  I recently sold my oil and gas title research/staffing company and now I'm primarily doing consulting work (still in the oil and gas industry).  My wife and I have always been drawn to housing and real estate, and we're interested in parlaying some of the proceeds from the sale of our business into real estate investments.  We've been taking steps over the last couple years to make that dream a reality, educating ourselves, and my wife just finished her coursework to become a real estate agent.

This site looks like a great resource.   I'm here to continue learning, become involved in the community and to connect with other investors in our area.  Looking forward to meeting some of you!
