Hello from Scottsdale Arizona

My wife Kathy and I have been investing for about 20 years. Started out in Dallas and did a rehab. I have always been handy so did the work myself while we were living in it. Won't do that again. Sold it a few years later and made good money. That's what got us hooked.
Since then we have owned 25+ properties in Arizona and North Carolina. Duplexes, fourplexes, and single family. We have bought and held, fixed and flipped, rented then fixed and flipped, fixed then rented then flipped, etc. In '06 I felt the "crash" coming and we sold all the single family in Arizona for a tidy profit.
Looking to reinvest in AZ when we hit bottom. It has been slow as a turtle climbing Mount Everest around here for 1.5 years. Have never been much of a forum kind of guy except of the political variety but have already learned a good bit here. Hopefully can contribute something usefull. I have always been able to fix most anything, kind of a problem solver I guess. Like to think outside of the box.
