New Guy in PA

Hi everyone!

Well, so far I've read a bunch of threads, discussions, and listened to some podcasts.....aaaaand I'm hooked. A friend guided me towards this site after I read a few real estate books and talking to some local people - very glad he did! 

My current day job is at a large company in the Lehigh Valley, where I've had varied experiences from marketing, budgeting/strategic planning, IT security and systems analysis, and soon to be moving into the financial area. 

I am in the process of building my knowledge of the real estate market and am itching to get into my first deal...already to the point where I've had to pull myself back from jumping the gun and going after shiny objects :)
