8 unit apartment complex as second rental venture

Hello All:

My name is Bryan and I am a newer real estate investor located in central Pennsylvania. I have rented former house for the past year and have been looking to expand my real estate portfolio. I recently closed on an 8 unit apartment complex. This building is one story with a very large basement underneath that has income potential for storage opportunities for construction firms or other types of businesses.

The 8 apartments are very well maintained, each one is 1 bedroom with a living room, kitchen and sitting bar, bathroom and utility room that includes washer/dryer, hot water tank and furnace. Each apartments utilities are measured individually for water, electric and natural gas.

They are situated near two college campuses (one within 1 mile and the other within 5 miles) and in the center of town.

I look forward to learning from this online community and getting to know some of you.

thank you

Bryan
