Good Day Bigger pockets members my name is David Smith. My wife and I are new to REI, but I am not new to real estate. I have had my real estate license since 2006. I currently work in the oil and gas industry in Houston TX.

My wife and have agreed that is we want to become more financially independent we would have to find a vehicle to help us achieve that goal. Currently, we are going to start out with the fix and flip strategy to build up our investment capital to allow us to do this full time. Our goal is to fix and flip 4-6 homes locally within the next year. After that, we will start to build our rental property portfolio.
