Another Newbie from Stafford VA

Hello All,

I'm Chris Brander from Stafford VA and I'm new to Bigger Pockets and real estate investing. The only experience I have in real estate is spending countless hours on zillow.com and working with a few different realtors with the purchase and possible sale of the house I currently live in. I did some work wiring electricity in houses when I was 16 but that seems like a long time ago (I'm 34 now). I relocated to Stafford about 4 years ago and have a steady career in a 40 hour/week job where I'm not as happy as I'd like to be. My ultimate goal is to build a real estate investment business where I could leave my 40 hour/week desk job and work for myself.

Like I said, I am new to investing but I've been looking at BP blogs and started listening to some BP podcasts.  The information is fantastic.  

The first step, as I see it, towards reaching my ultimate goal is to educate myself and complete my first investment transaction.
