Hi, New Memeber in Las Vegas
HI,
My name is Ross and I have been a Real Estate agent for about a year and 3 months and I have sold about 21 properties. I am a buyers agent on a successful team/brokerage out here. I love everything about Real Estate and have been doing a lot of reading and listening to podcasts on investing.
I feel being an agent I have such a big advantage in investing so I am always surprised to see so many agents who dont invest or even own their own home! Having access to the MLS gives me a large advantage also with all the networking I do and relationships I have made I am sometimes notified 1-2 weeks before a property even hits the market. Also the fact I can use my commission toward closing costs, or I can use it to reduce the purchase price. I can also receive my commission in full and use that for any and all repairs, or new flooring, or however I see fit.
I am 24 years old and ready to start investing! Unfortunately I am unable to qualify for traditional financing until I have 2 years tax returns in the same industry (January 2016).
