I have been in Real estate for 12 years in Slc , Utah. My family and I are planning to relocate to southwest Florida in the coming months. It's a bit scary since I know many folks here and the market is hot. But Florida is a dream that seems very realistic right now that property values are low.

As a Realtor, "flipping" has been something that I have wanted to get into BUT have always made the excuse that I did not have enough capital for :/ I now find myself in a situation where I will have some money from the sale of our home. Because of my real estate career , I will Not be able to qualify for a "traditional" loan UNTIL I have 1 year under my belt in Florida. This bad news has actually been GOOD news as I now am investigating and researching the Real estate investor ways :) I look forward from learning from the wise sages and making new friends here at bigger pockets !
