New Member from St. Louis, Missouri!
Hi Everyone,
My name is Garen Lafser and I am excited to be joining the community here at BP. Apart from my work (see below), I am always trying to learn more about real estate, developing, and about all the various types of deals out there. I also hope to personally invest in some deals in the near future.
Our company, Lafser & Associates (lafser.com), provides consulting and services for real estate developers including project management, historic tax credit consulting, environmental abatement, energy tax credits, and more. We are trying to shift from strictly being consultants to becoming developers and investors ourselves. We have been serving our clients for over 25 years now and have helped hundreds of clients with even more projects.
Thanks for reading and hope to get to know some of you more in the future!

Paul, I think I may understand your question now and the answer is no we have not used it yet, but the program does bring the vacant properties back to the tax roles. We're familiar with the program but are still trying to figure out the best way to use it for our clients. I know the deadline for submitting proposals is this Friday here in St. Louis. So next quarter we are looking to have some of our developer clients look into it more. Thanks!
