Hi all,

I am totally new to looking into REI. I own nothing and am just now entering the arena of gathering information. I started with Podcasts which led me here to Bigger Pockets.

I don't have a lot to contribute but I have a lot to learn at this point.

I just have been spending more and more time dreading my corporate life and the idea of doing it for 30 more years. I also have been a renter from private people so I know what thats like and thinking to myself, wow thats a good deal on their end. I want to eventually have a passive income or one that in reality allows a minimum amount of hands on working day to day within the next 10-15 years. The exact methods to achieve this and the possible risks involved are a little scary or intimidating, especially because I am just not trying to learn what this or that means (which seems different depending on who you ask).

I am very excited to be here and to see what others are doing to make their dreams come true.
