Hi,

My name is Gert van Rooyen and I live in Roswell GA. After owning a rental property in the North Atlanta metro area for 3 years and doing  a restoration of our current residence, my wife and I realized we were both excited by the change that we brought about and saw this as an opportunity for "job satisfaction"  outside the corporate world. We felt leveraging this on a bigger scale to reinvest into the community by restoring property values and helping people overcome their real estate ownership challenges is a great foundation to build a successful business that will benefit our customers.  This is a long way to say that we are new to active real estate investment and need all the help we can get and need to build relationships in the real estate community.

My wife is a Computer Science major with programming web design and IT experience and is the Idea Engine of our organization (Iroko Properties), I am an Electronic's Engineer with 25 years of wireless telecommunications experience in Project and General Management a good combination to creatively move our business forward.

Our goal is to build a strong long term rental portfolio funded through active buying and selling, buying, restoration and selling of properties and creative financing solutions for buyers and sellers that cannot use normal sales channels due to equity and mortgage qualification challenges.

Eventually we want limit our area of influence to a smaller niche but we need to find properties where we can get on the map and do a few deals to start building a reputation and generate income. Opportunities north of I20 in Decatur, Roswell, Alpharetta, Marietta, Kennesaw, Woodstock and Cumming is where we will focus on.

We realize this business,  as any other, runs on relationships and will be one of our key activities to build strong relationships to mutually benefit our fellow real estate investors  and our organization.

Please connect with us, we look forward in working with you all.

Rgrds

Gert
