Hey everybody,

Allow me to introduce myself to the BP community. Im Tariq; I'm a novice investor and I want to meet like minded people. I'm located in the DMV (DC MD & VA). Im new to investing so Id figured i just stick tight to BP to learn a few things from those who actually do it before I jump out and lose a bunch of money. I may be able to add to a conversation here and there too.

I've been looking into wholesaling on the advice of a mentor. I have a background in construction (plumbing) so I have experience calculating rehab/repair costs etc. I worked alongside a master plumber who worked for investors. I had no clue but once i figured it out I got the real estate bug. This was prior to the recession. Right now I am a full time RE & Econ student. I have invested heavily in education so now its time to see some returns on the investment in myself.
