New To BP from New Orleans

Hello BP members! Nice to "e-meet" you guys. My name's Anthony and I'm pretty new to real estate investing. I hail from Houston, Texas, born and raised. I spent a year in NYC and have lived in New Orleans for the past 4. 

I'm now 30 yrs old and after spending the majority of my 20's heavily involved in the arts, I needed to shift gears toward something much more concrete, stable, and profitable. Done correctly, I know RE investing can provide that. Aside from getting involved with RE, I am a certified personal trainer.

My ultimate goal for RE investing is similar to most of yours, I suspect, and that is to achieve financial independence. Life is meant to be lived fully and it's amazing how, again, done correctly, RE investing can provide the kind of lifestyle that allows for that.

I look forward to getting to know many of you and learning as much as possible.
