I'm new to the industry but eager to get going with networking and learning ways to attract individuals or businesses who are open to becoming private lenders. Any suggestions are welcomed.

Private money lenders are individuals you know personally who are willing to invest in you.  Talk to everyone you know and everyone you meet about what you do.  A few will be interested.  A few of those will have cash.  A few of those will be willing to invest with you.

You "attract" them by having a good track record of profitable investments.  That may mean you have to do the first few deals with money from other sources (hard money, bank loans, second job, etc.) to create that track record.
