Hello BiggerPockets Community,

I've only recently discovered the BiggerPockets Community and I am so impressed with the level of activity and quality of individuals who participate in this group. 

I am a Law Student (previously an accountant), expecting to graduate in May 2015, who will be working as an Associate in a law firm's Real Estate practice group. I have been interested in real estate and real estate investment, since I was very young, when I helped my father clean and prepare a condo between tenants in Newport, Rhode Island (okay, all I really did was scrub floors).

Through joining and participating in this community, I hope to learn people's unique perspectives on real estate investment and the "whys" and "hows". I'm very interested in learning about real estate from all angles and I would love to contribute where I can.

My first goal, after graduating and successfully passing the BAR, would be to save up to purchase a home, that I could use as a starting point in my real estate investing portfolio. Down the road, I'd like to enrich, grow and help out the communities where I own real estate. I strongly value giving back to the community, promoting diversity and mentorship.
