Hello, my wife and I are newbie real estate investors from Livermore, CA.

We are interested in a long-term buy-and-hold rental in our area (Livermore, Pleasanton, Dublin, San Ramon) or perhaps the Sacramento area (Folsom, Rocklin, Roseville), since we make frequent visits there.  In the future, we hope to add more long-term buy-and-hold rentals to our portfolio.

Finally, the wealth of knowledge and sense of community on this site are amazing!  Thank you to everyone that has contributed and we are excited about what the future may hold!

Hi @Samir S. Welcome to BP and good job on your blog.  I did the same analysis on cell phone plan as well but I can't use T-Mobile due to coverage.  No signal in Mt. House :(

I own a rental in Dublin & I think the city has good long term potential, it is close to BART and schools are decent.

@Anne Chiramberro, welcome to BP too.  I agree with your observation about Sac, hope you can find something soon.
