Closing on first rental property April 17th.  I am very excited but I know I have a TON to learn from you all. All of your advice is welcomed. Buying in Desoto Texas home is almost turnkey my contractor says home will be move in ready with $500 in repairs and paint.

Any advice on selecting tenants and creating leases?

Thank you in advance,

@Rhondalette W., Brandon Turner did an ebook on a guide to renting your property.  It is free here on BP, and it is worth reading.  Go to the Learn section above, then go to free guides, then how to rent your property.  Congratulations on your purchase and best of luck to you.  One last bit of advice, no matter how they look on paper if your gut has a bad feeling, then pass them up.
