Newbie from Manhattan
hi everyone,
I have been a bit shy about making an introduction but the site has been so helpful I figured I'd be more active going forward. I am a total newbie in Real estate in NYC. I have a full time job, but last year I was crazy enough to buy a tiny little infill lot in Harlem and decided to build a 6 story 5 unit condominium building. It has been about 12 months since the project started (closing on the land was the beginning), and we are very close to getting our permit to start construction! It has definitely been a crazy ride in the past 12 months and I am sure after construction starts I will have X10000 more problems. I am trying to stay optimistic, as it is my first ever project. I would love to be inspired + motivated by all the members here working hard to "make it" in real estate. I will continue to post about my project going forward, maybe starting a new thread. Oh, and I am having a baby in about 6 weeks so that will add so much more to my plate so praying hard and working hard to get things done in time.
Thanks and nice to meet you all!
