Hello all, I am a recent graduate from Ohio State University (Finance degree) and am currently working in CRE consulting. I'm quickly becoming obsessed in Real Estate and feel that I have found another true passion with it. It's hard for me not to be looking for my first deal out there during my job as I have a few resources at work that help (Costar, Loopnet Premium). However, I am indeed a complete newbie as I have not bought my first property (looking for a multi family) and am excited to get started. I have starting capital of $35,000 saved already and am looking to buy my first property within the next 6-12months. I would prefer a duplex/triplex for my first property, but the area seems to be pretty void of deals right now based on my basic online searches (have not yet contacted an agent/broker). Feel free to direct me to any resources that you think would be helpful. I have read the ultimate beginner's guide and listen to the podcasts, but I'm eager to finally take action and get started.
