Newbie from western Chicagoland

My name is Jim Brozny. My wife, Monica, and I have owned and managed rental properties in Chicago and the western suburbs for the past 20 years. It’s been a side business for us - until now. We’ve recently begun to expand our horizons and create a real business. We are aggressively adding to our portfolio and building a team to help us. Right now we are targeting distressed properties. Our objective is to buy and hold. 

Although we do have some experience, I know there’s a lot we don’t know. And I’m sure there is a tremendous amount we don’t even know we don’t know! I thought joining BiggerPockets would be a good way to get in the game, learn from people who know more than me, and share my experiences as well. I am looking forward to building friendships and maybe even some partnerships here.
