Hey everyone!

I just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Kevin. I was referred to this website from bogleheads.org to learn more about real estate investing.

I'm 25 years old and work full time as a tax accountant and auditor.

Currently I invest in index funds and live on a budget so I can enjoy things like traveling during the summer. However, I'm starting to get an itch to dive into real estate investing.

I read the ultimate beginners guide to investing on this website and love what's going on this website. I guess my first question would be, how do I find my ideal apartment??

Essentially I would like to buy a 2 bedroom/2 bath, $40,000 apartment; with a community gym, pool, and parking spots. I know what I want, but how do I find it, and how do I know what others tenants are paying for rent in the same apartment complex?
