Newbie from Connecticut

Hello everyone,

After reading tons of posts and content on BiggerPockets, I've decided to join the discussion. I'm from Connecticut (New Haven area) and am planning to invest in multi-family rentals in the area later this year. 

I run a web/software service company, but have always had an interest in real estate.

I'm also interested in getting more involved in the real estate community to find ways to "marry" software and real estate or improve current systems -- to help owners, agents and others in the industry make more money, manage properties better, work efficiently, etc.
