Greetings!

My name is David Paul and I moved to Nashville about 3 years ago from Lawrence, KS.

I am 27 and i have done a whole lotta stuff in a short time but I never really thought i would own a house... And I just bought my first one with my lovely lady last month. We both work in the restaraunt industry but I was a glass artist for several years prior and had to take a break for a while In favor of a more steady income. Having gone through the process of buying my first house made me realize that ot wasnt as hard as i thought and now im very interested in investing part time to get to the point that i can start doing art again on a full time basis but not have to rely on it as my full income, which odly enough helps the creative process and helps me get better deals on the art i sell because im not desperate for the money.

So I have been doing a lot of research, and it seems like flipping single family homes sounds appealing with the end game of buying some small multifamily homes for a more steady passive income. Also investing in tax leins seems interesting so i would love to talk to anyone that can give me advice in any of those areas. Where im at financially is pretty darn broke... I have a good remodeling specialist and a good realestate agent and mortgage broker as friends though so the nex step is just figuring out funding and going for it!

This is a wanderful site, glad there are so many people helping others and happy to be here!!
