My name is Sherry. I currently live north of Austin, but we are looking to move north of Dallas soon. I have always had a fascination with real estate, actually had my license years and years ago when we lived in Louisiana (husband was military so we moved around a bit). About 10 years ago, we purchased a duplex as an investment property and as a tax break. It probably wasn't the best purchase as far as ROI, but it has done what we needed it to do which was give us a tax break. I worked for the Air Force as a Financial Manager for over 15 years, as a civilian. I resigned to start a commercial capital broker business which has not panned out like I had hoped.....my mind keeps going back to real estate. I want to be a real estate investor full time. I want and need this to work for our family. I am prepared to learn all I can (boy, is that daunting with all the info out there....info overload!) and be successful. I look forward to "meeting"everyone and becoming part of the BP community.

Have a great day!
