Newbie Here! Located in the Harrisburg / Mechanicsburg, PA Area

Hello everyone my name is Andrew.  I am 25 years old and a Traffic Engineer located in the Mechancisburg area.  I am just starting to get the ball rolling on investing.  I have tossed the idea around for a few months now and i am beginning to gather information and boy what there is to learn.  I know i want to begin the journey to diversify my portfolio but im not sure yet how deep i want to get.  Currently I work full time as an engineer but i am not completely ruling out the idea of making a living off of investing.  I have the support of my blue collar family that i could see myself getting into the flipping scene but im also open to rental properties as well.  

Im reaching out to the community firstly to see if there are any locals active in my area. This information is extremely overwhelming. i have already checked out the Ultimate Beginners Guide and the What to do first pages on here but i am open to further suggestions and tips.
