New Oakland Investor looking to get feet wet.

Hello Biggerpocket folks,

I am a new investor living in the Oakland area.  I am looking to Flip properties on the East Bay, CA .  Investing peaked my interest when I got involved with the Armando Montelongo product.  Nothing has happened from that of course because what they're offering doesn't fit current income and is too much of a risk.  Since I have been educating myself through youtube videos, online reading materials, and books.  I've been doing my homework and still have lots to learn I'm sure.  If anyone has good advice or a deal I could possibly benefit from, please don't hesitate to contact me.  Thanks ~VM
