Starting out in Highschool

I'm currently a senior in high school,  and have found a passion for Real Estate.  I'm 17 and am debating on whether to go to college,  which personally I think is wasting 4 years of potential experience,  just to try and get a "mediocre"  job in order to pay my debt.  I know that Real Estate Investing involves risk but I'm willing to take it.  How can I start?  Where should I start?

I'm just trying to get started,  I'm currently based in Corona,  CA. I'm looking for someone I can share my vision with,  and is willing to teach me the essential strategies,  etc.
