Hi Everyone! My name is Ann and my husband and I began investing in buy and hold SFR in 2009. I am a CPA and I work full time for a financial institution while also acting as bookkeeper/landlord/property manager for our investments. My husband's employer closed their doors in 2012 and, after working for the same employer (a builder's supply company) for almost 30 years, he was fortunate enough to become a "full time" investor utilizing his knowledge and contacts to build sweat equity in the properties we purchased.

We have been building our SFR portfolio for the past few years, but have recently thought about buying fix and flip properties with the intention of using the proceeds to pay down current mortgages or to buy new properties.

Although we have learned a lot along the way, after finding the BP site, realized there is a lot left for us to learn and a lot of ways for us to grow our real estate business.
