I just completed filling out my profile and reading the many introduction threads, emails, PDF's, etc.  This site is amazing, and I can see it becoming a giant time suck in my future.

My wife and I have remodeled several personal residences.  For the last three years, we have owned a single rental property out of necessity (negative equity position) and managed it ourselves remotely.  In the past, I spent three years as a general contractor/jobsite supervisor for a new home construction company.  Now I am going to merge these three experiences into a profitable business.  We are looking to invest in both local properties and other specific markets within the U.S.  Currently, we are in the process of creating a business structure, name, and logo.  Our goal is to grow the business enough that we can work together and still provide for our needs.

This site, and the podcast, are a treasure of information.  Without it, and others like it, I doubt I would have the courage to chase my dream.  Thank you.

@Geoff Eldringhoff   Welcome to BP!  Be careful, this place is addicting.  If you have a wife, get her to come on to it too so the two of you will still spend time with each other.
