My name is Gordon, I work as a software engineer, but I'm looking at branching out into supplemental income from Real Estate, maybe full time income if I do well enough at it.
I've worked in the vacation rental industry as a software engineer for 8 years now and I know that industry pretty well, and that was honestly where I thought about buying, but after doing some research I discovered this site and got to thinking about the possibilities in renting out residential property. I also have a neighbor who is out of the country for a couple years so I took on managing his home as a long-term rental while he's out of the country.
I think that long-term investment & rental management fits best with my personality & skillset, but I'm learning as I go so that could change.
