Hello Bigger Pockets community,

My name is Doris McClung from West Palm beach, FL. I work as a payroll specialist and would love to quit my job and get into real estate investing. I want to learn at this point and get my feet wet. I have been reading and learning from the awesome BP site. I read J. Scott’s book on Estimating Rehab cost in one day. I currently reading Brandon’s book on No (and low) Money Down. Next book will be J. Scott’s Flipping houses. Such great reference books.

My first taste of real estate deal was when I purchased my to 2bed/2bath townhouse. The unit was built in 2005 and sold for 220K. I purchased it on 2009 for 49K through FHA loan. I just paid if off this year ..whew!!! Currently it is appraised for 90K.

My focus is doing rehabs and selling them. Maybe down the road I would get into rental properties for income streams.

Thanks everyone and have a great hearts day!

Doris
