Finally introducing myself! New Real Estate Investor in Victorville, CA

Hello everyone,

I found this site while googling "REI opportunities", and I'm so glad I did! There is so much great, reliable information here that I've had my head buried for the last six weeks trying to take it all in! Now that I've come up for air I figured it would be a good time to introduce myself and begin networking in order to take advantage of the other valuable resource BiggerPockets has to offer, the vast community full of like minded individuals with diverse skills, experience, and expertise.

A little about myself... I currently work full time as an accounting technician for a local special district here in Victorville, so number crunching is something I actually enjoy. I have experience in home construction and had a small company prior to the burst of the housing bubble. Although I have a pretty comfy job with benefits, pension and a lot of paid holidays I know there's nothing like working for yourself. I want to use real estate as a way to get back to that.

I'm looking to connect with other real estate investors in the Inland Empire/High Desert(Riverside, San Bernardino County) area to learn more about and get involved in wholesaling, flipping, and buy and hold properties. As of now I have time, math/construction/landscaping skills, and enthusiasm to contribute to the success of another investors deal in exchange for knowledge and experience.
