REI Newbie from San Diego, CA

Hello Friends,

I am Husein Merchant here based in San Diego CA. 

I am an Engineer by profession. I dont have any experience in real estate investment(or any type of investment  actually). I have some savings from my few years of work and would like to use it for investment. 

I am looking to start with slow but stable investments. Ideally I want to start with my savings and build up on it without really lending money(not yet sure if it is possible ! ).

Found this interesting forum when trying to learn about real estate on internet.
