Hello BiggerPockets community,

I am a student at DePaul university studying Economics. I just started looking more into the idea of Real estate investment when i realized how many hidden layers are involved in Stock investment and equity. I consider myself to be pretty financially savvy for a 20 year old, but I think that even if i make perfect decisions in the stock market, capital gains tax, and other fees will prove to make my stock investments not very lucrative. I have danced with the idea of Real estate and love the idea of real estate investing, but I only have $3,000 to my name. I am here to find out if there are some ways to start investing in real estate with as little capital as I have.
