I have been lurking around the forums for a while but have not introduced myself yet.  I am an investor from Salt Lake City, Utah.  In my day job I work as an accountant for a logistics company.  I have done a handful of live-in flips in my adult life, but until the last year or two I wasn't treating real estate as a business.  I just liked making sure I found good deals when I bought a house to live in and got as much as possible for the house when I moved out.

Then last year I got my first rental property.  Now I am looking for more buy-and-holds.  For now I want to focus on small properties in my local area; single family up to fourplexes in Salt Lake County and the southern part of Davis County in Utah.  I want a few years of experience with smaller properties, but within five years I want to move on to larger apartment complexes.

Thank you for the warm welcome @Cory Calvin, @Mike Gallagher, @Daniel Featherston, @James Wise, and @Peter MacKercher.  I really like what I have learned on BP so far and it is great to connect with others who are walking the same path.
