Educating myself - Newbie in Butler, PA

Hello everyone!  I am very excited to be a part of the Bigger Pockets website & forums!  I am looking forward to learning so much to help us in our new journey!

My husband & I feel stagnant in our lives and want to make changes to move our family and finances forward.  It has always been my husband's dream to be involved in real estate - to work for ourselves, and let our projects work for us!  On the other hand, I am wary of risks and changes .... so here I am dipping my toes in and ready to absorb any & all information that I can in order to make our dreams a reality!

A big concern that I have is that we don't have any start up money to fund our real estate journey with (we are also currently renting) ... and a bankruptcy in our background.  I hope that these are two hurdles that we will be able to find creative ways to overcome.

Thanks for reading & I am looking forward to new friends and new adventures!
