Hi! My name is Shawna Curran. I've spent the last 12 years in the software development industry where I currently still work. Last year my husband made a decision to be a stay at home dad and the return on that choice has been tremendous. We are far less stressed and my husband has been making some wonderful connections and memories with the children. We've decided that it would be wonderful if I were home more often as well and so I've chosen real estate investing as our avenue for financial independence.

I’m interested in learning as much as possible about flipping, wholesaling and buy and hold properties in order to settle on the direction I want to go in and where to start. This is a great site and of course there’s a TON of information so I’m taking the time to make my way through the material. I welcome any advice or guidance!

@Paul Timmins Thanks, I can already see the truth in your advice. In just a few posts in this thread I'm learning far more than I anticipated and see how thoroughly Massachusetts is represented here. Clearly Black Diamond is the way to go as well.
