New in Dallas TX

I’m Marsha, I’ve lived in Dallas for the past year, before that I lived in Atlanta, GA and Pittsburgh, PA. I’m a mommy of 2 boys 16 month old Parker and almost 3 year old Carson . I just had the inspection completed on a short sale investment property yesterday and I am closing on the 27th of this month. It’s a 1,400 Sq. Ft. ranch that for the most part needs just cosmetic work. I wanted to keep things simple for my first time out.

I don’t have any short term investment experience (i.e. flipping) but we have built 3 homes in the last 6 years and successfully resold two for profit. We are currently living in the 3rd house. I’m nervous and excited. Hoping I can juggle everything with the boys, daily life and now the investment house.

I’m not sure how much I will be able to post in the upcoming weeks but I’m excited to get involved and get to know everyone.
